The Hungarian Electrotechnical Association’s Energy Information Technology Department hosted a conference at the beginning of December.
The event’s main focus was the paradigm shift taking place before our eyes in the energy system, whereby data collection and plant management will be supplemented by a number of new functions in the distribution network due to the changing demands on the network (e.g., decentralization of energy production) and the significantly increased hunger for information (digitalization).
The program also featured a presentation by Róbert Gaál, Deputy Director of the Control Systems Division of Astron Informatics Ltd., who shared his experiences with domestic distribution networks.
