We are very pleased to announce that we won the public procurement procedure at the end of last year, according to which we will be working closely for another 3 years with Hungarian Gas Storage Ltd., the largest gas storage provider in Hungary. They operate, maintain and continuously develop four underground gas storage facilities in Hungary. Their main objective is to operate with a high level of excellence to ensure a smooth winter gas supply in the country.
At Astron, we have been supporting them in their mission for more than a decade through IT development and system support projects. The operation of the underground gas storage facilities is monitored and controlled through the system developed by Astron, which provides crucial information and support to Hungarian Gas Storage’s employees, clients, and partners in many areas of operation. In accordance with the provisions of the public procurement procedure, we will concentrate on further developing the system, and we will continue to provide support services as well.
