One of our main goals at Astron is to help our colleagues further develop their knowledge. To this end, we support their higher education studies and obtaining their degrees. There were seven colleagues studying with the help of our company, and four of them graduated at the beginning of 2024.
Our employees usually study at Budapest University of Technology, Óbuda University, or Gábor Dénes University as computer science engineers. Most of them choose distance learning or night courses, and thanks to our flexible working hours policy and home office options, they are able to work full-time while obtaining their degrees.
We support them by giving them extra paid vacation days, by paying their tuition fees, and by providing professional support for their thesis. We are proud that almost all of our employees have one or more higher education degrees and that most of them speak languages as well. We feel that this is essential to guaranteeing continuous high standards in our professional work.
