At the end of October, Erste Bank introduced a number of new digital services in Hungary. One of the biggest innovations is the Queuing app developed by Astron Informatics Ltd., which allows Erste customers to join a virtual queue even before arriving to the bank.

Thanks to the application, customers can choose the type of service they are interested in before arriving physically to the bank. This virtual queuing system allows them to do their banking business more quickly and comfortably.

In Hungary, Erste is the only bank to introduce such an extra service. The application and the other recently introduced digital services proved to be very successful, and it’s also due to these innovations, that Erste won ‘Bank of the year’ and ‘Most innovative bank of the year’ award at the annual 2015 Mastercard awards.
