Delirest, the Hungarian branch of Central Europe’s largest workplace hospitality and contract catering group, aimed to digitalize the dining experience at office-building restaurants with a mobile app that enables seamless self-service meal payments and real-time access to dining information.
The solution needed to support multi-country deployment, integrating market-specific payment methods such as the SZÉP card, Hungary’s most widely used fringe benefit. Ensuring secure, high-performance transactions across different payment ecosystems was critical.
We designed and developed the entire Delirest mobile app and middleware, ensuring a robust connection between the frontend and Delirest’s backend systems. The payment infrastructure was tailored to meet regional requirements, providing:
Balance top-ups via bank cards, SZÉP card, and Apple Pay, with in-restaurant payments facilitated through a QR-based Delirest card system.
