From November this year, a software developed by Astron Informatics Ltd. provides the members of the Hungarian Energy Traders’ Association for the publication of their natural gas capacity demand requirements.
Astron Informatics Ltd. and the Hungarian Energy Traders’ Association (HETA) started negotiations in early summer and agreed by the end of summer that Astron could develop an IT platform HETA to help its members to coordinate their capacity demands. After the successful completion of the trial period, the software is in operation from the beginning of November, providing an IT platform for network users with surplus or deficit in the contracted capacity to easily publish their buying and selling intentions and inquire about offers made by others.
The IT platform supporting bilateral trading of gas capacity has been developed with the latest technology based on best practices. Surfaces of the IT platform can be accessed by using a web browser. As a result of the Responsive Web Design (RWD) technology, the interfaces adapt to the size of the actual screen, which also supports mobile device usage.
Only HETA members registered on the platform have access to the system.
